Meet the faces behind The Handmade Expo !!

Meet the faces behind The Handmade Expo!!

The Handmade Expo & Vintage Market is run by a team of dedicated people who are extremely passionate about all things handmade! They are usually the people who are running around interacting with stallholders and customers alike, often with a clipboard in hand or a camera!

The market was started 8 years ago in Ipswich by mother and twin daughters Miriam Bain, Liesa Gifford and Micky Hasted. Nowadays Micky has taken a step back and a new face is heading the market along with Miriam and Liesa, Korina Fraser.

Each owner also runs their own successful businesses, Miram owns Mimmis and creates beautiful items from vintage chenille and all things shabby chic (https://www.facebook.com/mimmisonline/?fref=ts), Liesa is owner of popular Laidley cafe Three Sons and Korina owns Korina's Kreations and sews super cute handmade stuffed animals (https://www.facebook.com/korinaskreations/?fref=ts).

And while Korina takes care of the administrative side of the Rockhampton and Bundaberg locations she is assisted on the ground by Sandy Morrice in Rockhampton who owns Sandy Pandy Beads (https://www.facebook.com/sandypandybeads/?fref=ts
