Our June Market - Just Fabulous

Hi Everyone

Well, Saturday has been and gone and was fabulous if we don't say so ourselves.

We had 1100 enthusiastic shoppers through the door and over 90 stallholders to show off and sell their beautiful handmade goodies. We did have quite a few newbies and of course our very loyal and reg stallholders came back.

The day began cold, dark and wet but turned out to be beautiful weather. The layers started to come off, the customers started to arrive and the day seemed a big success.

With 3 busloads arriving throughout the day, this bought ALOT (120 in fact) of new faces through the door. We have had very positive feedback from them and we do hope that this be a regular tour that they put on.

The QT came throughout the day and took a photo of Mel and Kerry...their story and photo can be seen in todays QT or right here, right now.

Our wonderful shoppers

Eliza with her beautiful woodturning.

More wonderful shoppers

Well, as you all know, this was our last market at the Ipswich Showgrounds. We are so excited to be moving to the Turf Club on August 15th. We have had very positive feedback and response.

Dont forget that our next market is being held at the Jumpers & Jazz Festival in Warwick on July18th. See you all there.

We would like to close to say thanks heaps to all of our wonderful stallholders, present, past and future. Thanks heaps to the customers who continue to come through the door monthly.

The Ipswich Craft & Hobby Fair - CANCELLED

Hello

We are sorry to advise that we will not be going ahead with the Ipswich Craft & Hobby Fair on Saturday 25th July.

We did not reach our minimum amount of committed stallholders and thought it not viable to go ahead for the stallholders, customers and us.

We hope to receive some more interest for this sort of market throughout the year...so keep your eyes peeled as you never know when one might pop up again.

Thanks to everyone who showed interest.

Market NOT THIS WEEKEND

Hello Everyone.

We would just like to let you all know that when we first made our dates available for June, it was originally the 13th...THIS SATURDAY. We did send an email out to our whole database and we also posted on the blog to let everyone know that we had to change the date to the 27th June as we would have had to have competed with quite a large event in Ipswich.

It has been placed in some Express Publication magazines with the date of the 13th, of which we had no control over...however, there is an ad placed in the same magazines advising our proper date.

So, if you haven't already, can you please change the date in your diary and let everyone else know that is in your address book that The Handmade Expo is on the 27th June and not the 13th June.

Thanks heaps
Liesa, Micky & Miriam

The Ipswich Craft & Hobby Fair

Hello

Just a reminder to everyone who expressed interest in the Ipswich Craft & Hobby Fair on Saturday 25th July, that we will require your payment before the 13th June.
We currently have over our minimum requirement in stallholders who have expressed their interest however, we do require the minimum requirement of stallholders to commit with payment for us to formally advise that we are going ahead.

Thanks to everyone that has paid and we do hope that we do get enough stallholders to be able to go ahead with the Fair.

Thanks heaps
