The Handmade Expo Office

Hi Everyone.

We are very excited to announce the The Handmade Expo will have an office from the 16th June.
It will be in the Handmade Heaven boutique at Shop #11, The Old Flour Mill, 231 Brisbane St, Ipswich.

Payment being sent by post will still need to go to the normal address.

So, if you want to pay cash or talk face to face about the market, this is the place to be.

The office hours are Tues-Fri (8:30am-4pm) and Sat (9am-2pm).

We are so excited to incorporate these 2 together and hope to see more of your faces outside of the market + it will give you an opportunity to check out Handmade Heaven.

DO YOU NEED TO DESTASH?

WHAT???
Yep, thats right, A DESTASH.

We are currently taking expressions of interest for The Ipswich Craft & Hobby Fair. We do require a minimum amount of stallholders to be able to go ahead with the Fair. At the moment, we have reached our minimum requirement, however, we do require payment ASAP so we know if we are going ahead...so we are in limbo at the moment.

Now, to that DESTASH!!! Do you have a craft room that needs a good clean out...a DESTASH? Do you have thousands of buttons, fat quarters, material, threads, etc...well, the IPSWICH CRAFT & HOBBY FAIR is for you. You do not have to be a craft store to have a stall, you can be a hobbiest, collector, crafter. We think that this is the perfect opportunity to clean your sewing room and make some extra money in the process.

If you are interested in having a stall on July 25th at the Ipswich Showgrounds, please email us at:
thehandmadeexpo@optusnet.com.au.

Thanks heaps
Liesa, Micky & Miriam

THe Ipswich Heritage Faire

Hello

The day was beautiful, the weather was amazing and the entertainment was fabulous.

With 23 stallholders all ready to go by 9:15am, the gun fire started the day.

With light horsemen marching around, the Town Crier doing the announcing, the singing, poetry, vintage cars, tea and damper, red coats, mansion tours, food, kids games, wine and of course, handmade goodies on offer, the day was lovely.

With Mayor Paul Pisasle opening the Faire at 10:00am...He loves Ipswich and you can tell.

There were approx 800 people who came to check out The Heritage Faire and of course HANDMADE..

Here are some photos of the day...A big thanks to all the stallholders, Ipswich City Council for inviting us to attend and to Woodlands for having us.

Hello

I have met an amazing lady.

It originally started with the Ipswich Craft & Hobby Fair. Jody was the first to call, book and pay for a site + Jody spread the word like wild fire...
Within 4 weeks, I was around her house/studio with Jane from the Ipswich Independent, taking photos, talking and organising a story for the newspaper. Within 1 week from that Jody had gone from her home studio to a beautiful little shop in the OLD FLOUR MILL in IPSWICH.

Scrapbooking is her passion and it shows within her beautiful shop. From June, Jody will be doing classes, so keep any eye out on the blog for a class list.

I could not help myself and had to go for a visit and take some photos.

You can find Stick 'n' Giggle at Shop #10, The Old Flour Mill, 231 Brisbane St, Ipswich.
Jody can be contacted at:
