DOBBERS & RED TAPE!!!!!!!

It's such a shame that 3 local woman run a successful market in Ipswich and have done so for the last 2 years with only the odd hiccup here and there (like the people who like to steal our signs).

Suddenly an unnamed and obviously jealous person has taken it upon themselves to "dob" The Handmade Expo Market into the Ipswich City Council for having our signs put up around town 6 days prior to our event every month.

Obviously, the signs are personally affecting this particular person. What a shame! So now, unfortunately The Handmade Expo Market is not going to be able to put their corflute signs up every month (for 6 days) due to the minority (as it is and will always be, the minority will win)!

We thought we would let you know, our wonderful stallholders and customers, that it is not due to our lack of motivation and interest to promote The Handmade Expo Market but is due to red tape and one particular person! So now we ask that if you live on a main road or a busy road if you would be willing to collect a corflute sign from us at our next market and put it up on the Sunday before our expos to help promote The Handmade Expo Market.
We can not think of any other way to have our corflute signs put around town.

Lets not let this effect the promotion of this wonderful market. "What doesn't kill us will only make us STRONGER and more DETERMINED"

Thank you for listening.

Liesa, Micky & Miriam

I haven't managed to get to the markets, but have heard great things. I'm happy to put one up on College Rd, Karana Downs (near Mt Crosby School) if you like. Just let me know where to get the sign from - shouldn't be a prob :)
