What is it that you make and what skills do you use?: theOttopiary is a place where you can find a range of unique acrylic jewellery. The primary line is brooches but other jewellery such as earrings are also available. theOttopiary jewellery is designed and made to assist you to express your inner you-for casual wear, work wear or really anywhere.
What inspired you to start your business?: I love watching people and seeing how they express their inner selves and personalities. Through collecting brooches and then making my own designs theOttopiary was born.
How long have you been creating?: since the beginning of 2018.
Is it a full time/part time hobby or business?: theOttopiary is a part time enterprise for me.
Where do you sell your creations?: I sell primarily through my ETSY store and also at specialty events such as the Lismore Handmade Expo.
What makes you so special or different?: The jewellery from theOttopiary is lovingly handmade and many are hand inked after they are assembled. The designs are quirky and each piece tells a story.
What is the most rewarding part of what you do?: I love assisting people to be creative and expressive in their jewellery choices.
What is your favourite product to make?: Cat brooches and flower brooches.
Do you teach classes or workshops?: I do not currently hold workshops.
