Hello
We thought we might share some photos of the floods that have consumed Ipswich over the past couple of days.
We have been lucky enough to not have any damage, but driving around, there have certainly been some very unlucky people and we wish them all the best with their clean ups. The community spirit of Ipswich has no doubt come out in force to help the needy.
We have never seen anything like this before. We were not around the area for the 74 floods and thank goodness for that. These are terrible enough in themselves, but to have to deal with MORE water would be dreadful.
Thank goodness today (Friday) is sunny and lovley, give the people who had damage to start drying out some of their things.

Wow..these photos really show it dont they? I am sure that the Ipswich Community will get together and help one another pull through it.
Hi girls, we went to Stanthorpe on Monday and we were discussing how dry the farms were after Cunningham's Gap to Warwick. We returned on Thursday morning to a whole new world. All the dams were full, roadsides were awash with water, it almost looked as if there were hundreds of swimming pools in the fields, bridges under water and a totally different sight than Monday. Lots of water also in Stanthorpe, Tenterfield, Glen Innis and Warwick. Hope all the stall holders survived with little or no damage. We lost two trees and had only 200mm in 4 days so we were the lucky ones.
